Champagne Cocktail Recipe

12/12/13, by Cate Seiser

For the Party-Perfect Table Setting featured in Free Issue No. 3, we brought in sparkle with glitter and ornaments. Our sister magazine, Cuisine at home, contributed sparkle in the form of Champagne Cocktails with St~Germaine. Made from elderflower blossoms and grape spirits, St~Germaine has a floral sweet taste with hints of pear, peach, passionfruit, grapefruit, and lychee. The extra-special ingredient will make this drink the hit of your holiday party.

Champagne Cocktail with St~Germain

Makes 7 cups; Total time: 10 minutes

  • 1 bottle dry white sparkling wine, such as Champagne (750 mL)
  • 2 cups St~Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice, strained
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices

Combine sparkling wine, St~Germain, and lemon juice in a pitcher.
Add ice and stir to chill.
Strain cocktail into glasses and serve with lemon slices.
