Adding a stylish new backsplash gives a kitchen a fast face-lift. Instead of using tile or another traditional material, however, we used cork flooring panels.
Purchase enough cork flooring to cover your backsplash area. Then simply cut the panels to size, and glue them on with construction adhesive. The flooring is water-resistant, so no additional finish is needed.
