The beauty of salvaged items is that they don’t have to be used for their original purposes. For example, we turned an old dresser top into a stylish piece of matching wall art.
Transformed Top. We decided to turn a dresser into a kitchen island by removing the original top and replacing it with a butcher block one. But instead of throwing the top away, we attached some large three-dimensional letters. The new wall art, plus the rejuvenated dresser itself, gave us two projects for the price of one.
