Create a Simple Cord-Keeper Handle

Tired of tangled cables? There’s an easy way to keep those cords from getting tangled in the first place. You’ll just need a wooden dowel and a length of rope to make a cord-keeper handle.

Carry & Store. Start by cutting the dowel to length, and then drill a hole through its center. Next, form a loop with the rope, pass the ends through the dowel, and tie a knot. The keeper wraps around the cord, and makes a great handle for carrying. Plus, you can use it as a hook for hanging the coiled cord.
