Creating an accent wall is a perfect way to upgrade any room’s style. The clean-lined accent wall shown here, for example, is simple to make by nailing 1/2" x 8” MDF or poplar boards to wall studs.
Wall-Widening Lines. It’s important to ensure that the board spacing is consistent. To do so, just position 1” spacers between the boards as you nail them to the studs. Then paint the whole wall in the color of your choice.
