Several retailers sell wood tables that are meant to be topped with pre-cut glass. You can easily dress up one of these tables with a coat of paint and four placemats.
Trace the Glass. After painting the table, lay out the placemats and center the glass on the point where they meet. Trace the glass (inset photo), and then cut on the line. Finally, arrange the placemat “slices” on the table and set the glass on top.
