Although neutral decor can look nice, it sometimes needs a splash of color. To dress up some wooden bowls, we added a dripping paint treatment.
Casual Accents. This project is fun because its results are random. When it's dry, the dripping paint gives each piece a playful look.
We simply dipped the top edge of each bowl into a container of latex paint. Then we set the bowls upright to dry.
If you'd like to add more paint, just apply it to the top edge of your bowl with a foam brush. You can also use the brush to move paint so it creates drips in certain spots.
The free-form drips down the sides of the bowls add character. This project allows you to add any paint shade you'd like to your decor, so it will blend perfectly with your room's color scheme.
